THE ACE OF STAVES

The Stave stands proudly in the forefront. A flowering red bush entwines its branches behind the stave. Upon the branches are two beautiful birds. Their bright colors and one's open beak alludes to them being songbirds, lovers for life. The top and bottom of the Stave are blossoming, representative of the innate power of possibilities provided by this suit.

The Stave holds the bounty of creation. New ideas, new beginnings are held in this card. The Stave talks about being able to move forward from a stronger foundation and greater wisdom. Adventure, gain, successful enterprise or partnership is the promise held within this card.

If you feel like the stave is a thorn in your side maybe you are making a false start. It might be better to wait a little while before embarking on the new venture if the stave feels more a club than a wand.
