Her fear of loss is indicated by the formless shapes in the clouds of imagination in the widow above her head.

The Four of Coins cautions about putting too much emphasis on financial issues. Although she has her wealth, the woman is alone and unsure. Afraid that the wealth she holds is transient and will slip through her fingers or be taken from her. She has removed herself from the ebb and flow of earth energies and fears the condition of financial insecurity.
